Important Notice
Due to current Biodiesel economics the Board of Governors of SoyMor Biodiesel, LLC are suspending the production of biodiesel at this time. SoyMor's Board of Governors has reviewed all possible alternatives regarding the plants operations and have concluded that the suspension of production is the most prudent decision to ensure long-term viability of SoyMor.
SoyMor was formed in 1999 by a group of
agricultural producers interested in adding value to the soybean crop they produced in southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa.
Today, SoyMor Cooperative and SoyMor
Biodiesel, LLC own and operate a 30 million gallon per year biodiesel manufacturing facility located in Albert Lea, Minnesota. In addition, SoyMor Cooperative's Series 1 members also own a state of the art soybean lecithin fractionation and deoiling facility located within the same industrial park.
